The view from our hotel beach. We stayed at La Rasa, a wonderful resort on the Northern side of Pinang.
View looking back at the hotel. I only wished I had shot more pictures inside the hotel. It was something. This shot doesn't reveal the fantastic pool or restaurant, where we gorged ourselves twice a day.
Monica and Mia kick back on resort property.
The beach is ten feet away, but the resort doesn't own it exclusively, so vendors offer 4 wheeler rentals and horseback riding where kids would like to be playing.
Walking back for lunch.
One of several restaurants at the resort.
Behind Mia is a walkway leading to the pool and central area.
A relaxing time.
Mia ordered an unprecedented fruit drink concoction.
Monica takes in the scenery that I forgot to photograph.
How is it?
To the beach.
Mia and I managed to find ourselves a semi-vacant spot.
Walking to the water. Note the sand is packed down by tire tracks.
Reach the beach.
A hasty retreat.
Falling and running.
The damp sand is nice and cool.
It's kind of nice here.
Note the edge of that land mass in the distance, this is a place called, "Monkey Island", which we visit later.
Nothing pleases like sand under your feet.
An invite to the water.
Nice and cool.
"Mommy, the water's great!"
